Cath Fletcher is a Birmingham based horticulturist, community gardener, and garden designer.  Cath has experience of community gardening, general horticulture and garden maintenance, border and garden design, as well the planning and delivery of community gardening groups and workshop activities for both adults and children. 

​Cath is Green Connector for Greener Cleaner Firs & Bromford working with Open Door Community Foundation and Firs & Bromford Neighbours Together  supporting local people to establish, develop, and maintain their green spaces. During the Covid-19 pandemic she has become a champion for supporting home growing and helped to set up the HomeGrow project with other members of the Birmingham Mother Garden Network. She has been involved in community gardening with the Welsh House Farm Big Local for a number of years as both a volunteer and worker. During this time she designed and oversaw the development of the Rutley Grove Community Garden, and she continues to support the delivery of Mother Garden projects in the area. 

RHS trained to Level 3 and an accredited Gardeniser Pro, she continues to explore opprtunities for further development and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture. Other achievements to date include an RHS Gold Medal for the 'Belong' Long Border at RHS Chatsworth Flower Show 2019;  Silver Merit award at the BBC Gardener's World Live show in 2018 for her Beautiful Border 'Our Space in Space'; winning the Birmingham in Bloom 'Best Community Garden in the Edgbaston District 2017' as part of the community group the Welsh House Farm Green Grafters; and Overall City Gold Winner - Helping Hand Award at Birmingham in Bloom 2018.
